Join the Team- Music Therapist Job Positions

We are seeking two passionate and dedicated music therapists to join our team in part- to full-time roles. Our studios serve a diverse range of clients including: neurodiverse children, adolescents, and adults, other diverse needs, stroke recovery, mental health, high risk youth, seniors, public schools and group homes. These two positions are exclusively for in-studio sessions. No travel required!

Job Parameters:

Effective January, 2026, Sessions held in our 3 studios in North Vancouver & Richmond

Mondays

  • 8am-1pm

Tuesdays

  • 8am-1pm

Wednesdays

  • 10am-1pm

  • 2pm-7pm

  • 3pm-8pm

Thursdays

  • 8am-1pm

  • 6pm-8pm

Saturdays

  • 8am-4pm

  • 5pm- 8pm

Training Period: 2 weeks paid training, prior to starting client sessions

Start Date: January 5, 2026

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have an avid interest & passion in working with autistic individuals, and other neurodiverse children, teens and young adults with diverse needs, as well as mental Health clients.

  • Applicant should have/but not required to have: experience working with autistic individuals, those with diverse needs

  • Applicant must be creative, driven, energetic

  • Applicant must have high stamina and a strong work ethic

  • Applicant must have strong and dynamic skills in piano and guitar, including improvisation

  • Applicant must be confident in using their voice acapella and within structured interventions

  • Applicant must have strong music theory knowledge and application

  • Applicant must have strong team collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a team

  • Provision of Enterprise Level Cloud Therapy Documentation Platform: UnitusTI (including additional digital materials bundle access for clients/families use), + provision of expert music therapist app’s package.

  • Training in, and on going use of: the Meet In The Music© - music therapy curriculum

  • Provision, Supply & Maintenance of: music instruments, materials, props, other session manipulatives

  • Provision of session site

  • Provision of cleaning/ health supplies (masks, cleaning supplies)

  • Ongoing curation of new clients

  • Ongoing connection meetings with para- professionals for referrals & ongoing relationship maintenance of funding bodies and charities

  • Ongoing supervision of sessions & professional consultation 

  • Ongoing provision of professional development training & financial coverage of external learning opportunities
