Online Music Therapy Sessions & Adapted Music Lessons

ET Music Therapy Inc. is proud to offer online music therapy sessions with all of our music therapists!

Does your child feel more comfortable with an online format? Do you live in an area that may not have access to music therapy, or there may be no music therapists in your area? Online sessions may be be just right for your family! We see clients across the province who will continue with online sessions, post pandemic!

Tele health has proven, by research, to be very effective in child development and treatment.  Our team has brainstormed many creative ways that we can keep the music going over video conferencing.  We have been doing online sessions for one year now! We’ve adapted our online sessions in order that effectiveness can be achieved. For some kiddos, we may kindly require that an adult/ assistant be present in the online sessions in order to help facilitate the experience and be our therapists' "hands" at your end.

We will deliver to your house an assortment of instruments in our custom made, re-useable ET Music Therapy bag, that can be used in the online music therapy sessions (at no cost).

An online session may include:

• vocal imitation

• song writiing

• kazzo imitation/kazoo diagrams

• Songs that incorporate picture cards for verbal imitation & engagement

• call & response musical interactions

• auditory discrimination interative games
